What is UHF RFID Laundry Tracking?

UHF (Ultra-High Frequency) RFID tags are small, durable chips permanently attached to each garment. Unlike barcodes, they don't need line-of-sight scanning — our readers capture entire bags of laundry in seconds.

When our driver collects your laundry, every item is scanned automatically. When we deliver, it's scanned again. You get a complete, real-time count of exactly which items are at the laundry, in transit, or back with your staff.

The tags are sewn or heat-sealed directly into garments and are designed to withstand 200+ industrial wash cycles — they're permanent for the life of the uniform.

How RFID Tracking Works

We Tag Your Garments

Our team visits your site and attaches permanent UHF RFID tags to every uniform.

The Business Case for RFID Laundry

Cut Uniform Costs

Companies with 200+ staff typically spend AED 80,000–150,000/year on uniform replacements. RFID tracking reduces this by up to 40% by eliminating losses and unaccounted garments.

Full Accountability

Every garment is traceable to a specific employee. Know immediately if a uniform is missing, at the laundry, or overdue for replacement.

Digital Inventory

Replace manual counting with automated reports. HR and procurement get accurate garment data without lifting a finger.

Save Admin Time

No more manual uniform registers or disputes. Everything is scanned, logged and reported automatically.

Track Garment Life

Know exactly how many washes each garment has had. Replace items proactively before quality degrades, not after complaints.

SLA Compliance

Documented proof of every collection and delivery for contract compliance and audit purposes.

Is RFID Right for Your Business?

RFID tracking delivers the most value for organisations with 50 or more uniformed staff.

Factories

Coveralls, workwear, safety uniforms for 50–2,000+ workers

Ports & Marine

Jebel Ali, DWC and Sharjah port operator uniforms

Hotels

Housekeeping, F&B and maintenance staff uniforms

Healthcare

Medical uniforms with hygiene compliance tracking

RFID Tracking Questions

No. Tags are either heat-sealed into a small fabric patch or sewn into an existing seam. They are invisible from the outside and cause no damage or discomfort to the wearer.
Our UHF RFID tags are specifically rated for industrial laundry. They survive 200+ wash cycles at temperatures up to 95°C, which exceeds the typical lifespan of the garment itself.
You receive a monthly digital inventory report showing every garment by employee name, garment type, wash count and current status (at laundry / delivered / overdue for replacement).
For a company with 100 staff and 3 garments each (300 items), initial tagging takes approximately one working day at your site. We handle everything — you don't need to do anything.
RFID tracking is most cost-effective from 50 uniformed staff upwards. For smaller teams, we recommend our standard tracked laundry service instead.
Currently we provide monthly PDF reports by email. We are developing a live online portal for real-time tracking — contact us if you'd like to be notified when it launches.
